Leonardo Serravalle competed on home soil this past weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) for the third event of the 2026 USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire championship with Zanella Racing. This event marked a special occasion as the first of two USF Juniors races this season in his home country of Canada.

After qualifying sixth for the weekend, Serravalle opened the event with a strong fifth-place finish in Race One while competing in front of Canadian fans at one of North America’s most iconic road courses. Race Two saw the Canadian continue his consistency near the front of the field, securing another solid result with a sixth-place finish. In Sunday’s final race, Serravalle crossed the finish line seventh after another competitive drive. However, a post-race penalty later moved him back to 16th in the official results.

Despite the setback in the final race, the weekend marked another productive step forward in Serravalle’s rookie USF Juniors campaign.

“Overall, it was a solid weekend and really special to race in Canada in front of family, friends, and everyone supporting me,” explained Leonardo. “We showed good pace throughout the event and continued making progress every session. The outcome of the third race was unfortunate, but there are still a lot of positives to take away from the weekend, and we will keep building from here.”

With momentum continuing to build, Serravalle looks forward to carrying his recent progress into the upcoming test and race weekends. Serravalle’s next race event will take place at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course over Fourth of July weekend. Before then, he will join Zanella Racing for a two-day test at Road America in June as preparations continue for the second half of the season.
